Business Spotlights
Take your ad to the next level with our business spotlight. These in-depth articles can be accessed from our home page and feature your business and a photo of you or your company in action. For your business’ feature story, one of our reporters will interview you and complete a 500-word story on your business. Your Spotlight stays on our website for six months, with your purchase. You can renew your Spotlight every six months and make changes as you need. Cost is $650 for 500-word story ($1,200 for 1,000 words). Renewal is $300 per six months or $550 for one year. Ask your ad rep about renewal discounts for 1,000-word stories.
Announcements
Do you have a new addition to your family? Did your young athlete star in his or her last game? Toot your own horn through InsideDP.com’s announcements page. Cost is $50 per 50 words plus one photo. Additional photos, add $5 each. We will also provide you a newspaper-style print out of your announcement at no extra charge.
Wedding announcements
Celebrate the happiest day of your life by announcing your wedding and/or engagement on InsideDP.com. For $85 we will print the details you wish to give of your wedding or engagement on your own page on our website, complete with a photo of the happy couple and a link to your bridal website, if you choose. If you purchase an engagement announcement and would like to purchase a wedding announcement for your big day, we will take $25 off the price of your wedding announcement. Both wedding and engagement announcements come with a newspaper-style print out at no extra charge.
Obituaries
In your most difficult hours, InsideDP.com strives to give you peace of mind when letting others know of your loved one’s death. Our flat obituary rate will help you and your family efficiently and accurately develop your loved one’s obituary so that you can attend to other matters. Our rate is 33 cents per word plus a photo. We will gladly work with you, an appointed family representative or your chosen funeral home to accommodate your needs. Obituaries are archived on our website forever. We will also provide you with a newspaper-style print out of your loved one’s obituary at no extra charge.
Classifieds
Our classifieds section can help you with finding a buyer or seller. Our rate is $1 a word for up to 25 words. Twenty-six or more words is 75 cents a word. This rate applies to garage/yard/estate sales, autos for sale, homes for sell/rent/lease, want to buy, animals for sell, services offered, looking for services, personal announcements and looking for work. If you are giving something away, such as free kittens, that ad is free.
Frequency discounts
Frequency discounts are available on contracted ads running on a systematic basis at least four times. They can run weekly, semi-weekly, or monthly. Discounts are:
4 to 10-run contract: 10 percent
11 to 20-run contract: 15 percent
21 to 30-run contract: 20 percent
31 to 40-run contract: 25 percent
41 or more: Negotiable
Ad Specifications
Online ads should be designed in pixels according to the dimension sold at a 72 dpi resolution in RGB mode
The proper file formats accepted are .jpg (.jpeg), .gif, .png or .swf
For any Flash created ads, please provide the original .fla file
Payment
Payment for announcement and classified ads is due upon agreement of contract.
First-time retail advertisers are required to pay up front 25 percent of the total cost of their advertisement contract. Billing occurs immediately after the ad first appears in InsideDP.com. Payment must be made in full by 10 business days after the expiration of the contract.
