Building on the momentum of last season's debut national tour the John Force Racing Road Show will once again be crisscrossing the country promoting the winningest team in motorsports history, the Castrol Funny Cars of John Force Racing, and the fastest motorsport on the planet, NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series. Beginning tomorrow at five Wal-Marts around the greater Houston area in advance of the 25th annual O'Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Spring Nationals, the JFR Road Show will bring the visual excitement fans have enjoyed at NHRA tracks for more than 30 years.
In partnership with Castrol and Wal-Mart five different John Force Racing 8,000 horsepower Nitro burning Funny Cars will be on display for fans to enjoy. The racecars will be positioned inside the Wal-Marts located in Baytown, Deer Park, Houston and Pasadena starting April 20 - 22.
"Last year we received tremendous response from a similar program in Denver in advance of the NHRA national event. We have expanded the program to twelve markets across the country and so far we have displayed in Gainesville and Charlotte with great success. Fans love coming into the Wal-Marts and seeing their favorite John Force Castrol GTX Funny Car or maybe seeing the Funny Cars driven by Ashley Force Hood, Robert Hight, Mike Neff or rookie sensation Courtney Force," said Lori Anne Gola, Castrol Sports Marketing, Sponsor Relations, and Promotions.
The John Force Racing Road show will be on display at the Wal-Mart at 9025 Spencer Hwy., in Pasadena at 5200 Fairmont Pkwy. and 1107 Shaver St., in Baytown at 4900 Garth Rd and in Houston at 13750 East Fwy.
