Chamber to induct DPISD Hall of Honor Class of 2013

Four Deer Park High School graduates have been chosen to take their place in the Felton F. Waggoner Hall of Honor.

This year’s inductees are Dr. Kara McMahon Bailey – Class of 1993; Brad Hance – Class of 1966; Tim Junek – Class of 1975; and Dr. Brad H. McLean – Class of 1989.

The Felton F. Waggoner Hall of Honor honors individuals who have graduated from Deer Park High School. These persons must have made a significant contribution through their service or accomplishments to their profession or community, at large and must be positive role models for youth in the community.

The induction ceremony will be March 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Deer Park High School-South Campus Cafeteria . Proceeds from the event go to the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce scholarship fund and the Deer Park Education Foundation. This year, the Chamber plans to award four $2,000 to DPHS seniors.

Individual seats are $40 each. Table sponsorships are $1,000 and $1,500 for tables of eight.

The $1,500 sponsorship includes the table of eight, an ad and logo in the event’s program, prominent signage and a special guest at the table.

For $1,000, the sponsors receive a table of eight, a logo in the program and a special guest at the table. Special guests include honorees, DPISD teachers and administrators.
