Baskin-Robbins Deer Park is bringing back the old-fashioned ice cream social with a new twist. The ice cream social is part of Baskin-Robbins' Fund Raising Program, which was created as a way for ice cream enthusiasts to enjoy delicious treats and support a great cause.
On Sept. 18 from 3 to 10 p.m., the Baskin-Robbins store 3811 Center St. Ste. B, will host an ice cream social that will raise funds to support Deer Park Education Foundation. The Deer Park Education Foundation partners with Deer Park Independent School District to fund innovative, effective programs, which enhance educational experiences for students in the district. Fifteen percent of proceeds from the ice cream social will be directly donated to the Foundation.
"Ice cream lovers of all ages can come in, socialize, enjoy any of our delicious Baskin-Robbins ice cream treats, and support Deer Park Education Foundation," said Rohan Patel, Deer Park Baskin-Robbins franchisee.
"We're very happy to have this opportunity to support Deer Park Education Foundation," said Patel "We know that local organizations are always looking for new ways to bring their supporters together in a fun atmosphere. We are pleased to help put a smile on people's faces and help support a very worthwhile organization. It's an irresistible idea."
